Uma dúvida muito comum entre as pessoas que estão començando a aprender inglês é sobre qual a diferença entre Have You Ever, Did You Ever e Do You Ever?
Apesar de serem expressões bem parecidas essas expressões tem formas diferentes de serem usadas e até mesmo significados diferentes.

Significado de ever
Para entendermos melhor a diferença entre Have You Ever, Did You Ever e Do You Ever antes vamos entender melhor o significado da palavra ever.
Ever pode ter vários significados, e pode ser traduzido como: sempre, nunca, já, jamais, alguma vez.
Em um sentido geral de ever significa “alguma vez, alguma vez na vida, em algum momento na vida”.
Have you ever
Have you ever é uma expressão no Present Perfect e significa “você já” ou “você alguma vez na vida”.
Nós usamos a expressão “Have You Ever” para perguntar se alguém já fez algo alguma vez na vida.
Exemplos:
Have you ever played soccer? – Você já jogou futebol?
Have you ever eaten Japanese Food? – Você alguma vez na vida já comeu comida japonesa?
Have you ever talked to her? – Você alguma vez já conversou com ela?
Então sempre que quisermos perguntar para alguém se essa pessoa já fez algo alguma vez na vida nós usamos Have You Ever.
Did you ever
A expressão Did You Ever tem basicamente o mesmo significado que a expressão Have You Ever, e significa “você já” ou “você alguma vez na vida” também.
A diferença é que a expressão “did you ever” está no Simple Past e com isso a sua forma de uso acaba mudando.
Para entender a diferença entre essas duas expressões precisamos entender a diferença básica entre o Present Perfect e o Simple Past.
Enquanto o Present Perfect é usado para falar de coisas que aconteceram/começaram no passado e que ainda tem alguma relação com o presente o Simple Past é usado para falar de situações que aconteceram no passado e já terminaram, situações que já foram concluídas no passado.
Então nós usamos o Did You Ever com o mesmo sentido do Have You Ever, porém para falar de situações do passado que já terminaram.
Vamos ver os exemplos para ficar mais claro.
Exemplo:
When you were a kid, did you ever swim in the lake? – Quando você era criança, você alguma vez nadou no lago?
When you lived in Miami, did you ever take a taxi? – Quando você morou em Miami, você já pegou um táxi?
Como você pode ver, nos dois exemplos, a situação começou no passado e já terminou.
Do you ever
A expressão Do You Ever é uma expressão que está no Simple Present.
Essa expressão é usada para perguntar com que frequência você faz alguma coisa, se em algum momento a pessoa faz alguma coisa.
Geralmente é usado para falar de coisas habituais em contextos onde a pessoa não faz aquela determinada ação com frequência e você quer saber se a pessoa costuma fazer aquilo.
Do you ever go to the movies? – Você costuma ir ao cinema?
Do you ever eat Italian food? – Você costuma comer comida italiana?
